PAPA CIDY, a talented musician, born and raised in Uganda, began his musical journey in 2009 when he joined Leone Island as a fashion designer
In 2010, he had his breakthrough with the hit song « Tolina Kisa » featuring Dr Jose Chameleone. Since then, Papa Cidy has continued to captivate audiences with his music, releasing popular duets such as « Joselina, » « Daniella, » « Meeme Katale, » and « Nishike Mukononi. » His most famous hit single EVALINA was a blast all over the Pacific islands and enabled him to tour in Solomon Islands Fiji, Vanuatu PNG, New Caledonia.
He has performed in the United Kingdom, Dubai, Sweden, Finland and Germany and also in many African countries.
PAPA CIDY is a songwriter, singer and performer at the same time and has a couple of albums on the streaming platforms as well as a few singles and collaborations, one of them being with PNG Legend Justin Wellington “Sweet mama”
He is now residing in Manchester where he found love and love with the new community.
His passion for entertaining knows no bounds, and he is determined to spread his music and love across the world.
